MODIFICATION NOTES

8.1.04

Disconnect/connect/remove ground lead from battery

	Remove/Install
1	Move passenger seat completely toward front	See Operating Instructions
2	Open cover (2) of stowage box (3)	Actuate left release.
3	Remove inner lip from stowage box (3)
4	Pull out baseplate (4) using pulling hook	Installation:  Floor panel (4) should catch audibly.
			Figure
5	Unclip rear wall (5) from stowage box (3) with screwdriver (6) and lay down to side in stowage box (3).
6	Unscrew bolt (9)
7	Disconnect electrical connector (7) from interior socket (X58/1)
8	Unclip stowage compartment (1) from stowage box (3) with mounting wedge (8) and remove	Thereby pull electrical lines of interior socket (X58/1) out of stowage box (3).

9	Install in the reverse order
