	Removing
	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge	All models	AH54.00-P-0001-01A

		Leave speaker in original packaging as long as possible. Do not push in or damage speaker membranes. Pushed in or torn speakers are audible in the test.
		Remove series logo (Harman or Becker) from speaker grilles.
		If possible, use protective foils against soiling. Perform installation and removal in area of rear shelf and C-pillars with gloves.
1	Connect Star Diagnosis and read out fault memory, save if necessary

2	Disconnect ground cable from battery

3	Remove loudspeaker in dashboard

	Install
11	Install AMG speaker in instrument panel

12	Install AMG mirror triangles	To ensure that original foam material can be used in AMG mirror triangles (11), it must be cut out in area of connector (see picture 1, striped area). To do so, place connector on foam material and mark area to be cut out (12).
13	Install AMG speakers in front doors

14	Install AMG speakers in rear doors	Insert diplexers (18), tweeter H4/3h1 and H4/4h1, as shown in picture 1, into door trim and fix in place with felt adhesive tape (17).

15	Install AMG speaker in rear shelf	Only reinstall rear shelf following system check at end of conversion work.

18	Perform system test	To do so, reconnect battery. All newly installed speakers must undergo a function or audio test before remaining parts are installed.
19	Install in the reverse sequence	Operation step 10, 9, 8, 7
20	Install AMG amplifier unit panel (5)	Engage AMG amplifier unit panel (5) in upper area and fasten at bottom with two expansion anchors (6) (see picture 2). When installing anchoring hooks (14), ensure that spacer rings (15) are seated correctly below anchoring hooks (14) (see picture 3).
