Partially remove sound deadening mat on paneling (14) as shown in the picture.
Glue Velcro strip (16) as shown in the picture to iPod interface (2).
Glue iPod interface (2) onto paneling (14).
Connect interface coupling (5) of iPod wiring harness, route line as shown in the picture and fasten to paneling using felt.
Connect iPod interface wiring harness connector (19) of iPod wiring harness (see magnified view) to iPod interface (2).
Glue on iPod interface (2) such that the interface coupling (5) of the iPod wiring harness can later be fitted in the cutout between the air ducts (see magnified view). Bonding surfaces must be clean, dry and free of grease.
