Remove/install rear rubber mount of rear axle center assembly suspension - AR35.10-P-0050-02T

REPAIR MATERIALS

BR00.45-Z-1002-06A Lubricating paste, rubber parts 2.5 kg, DB supply specification 6867.00 A 000 989 01 60

Removing 

  1. Measure insertion depth (a) on inner core of rubber mount (62) on rear axle carrier (8) from the front using depth gauge, record the result.

  2. Press rubber mount (62) with FLUID SPECIFICATION sleeve (15) and FLUID SPECIFICATION thrust piece (16) to the front to remove them from the rear axle carrier (8).

    Install 

  3. Apply lubricant to the entire periphery of the rubber bushing (62) and clean the mounting socket in the rear subframe (8).
  4. Position rubber mount (62) from the front on the rear axle carrier (8) and press SPECIAL TOOL thrust piece (16) and SPECIAL TOOL sleeve (6) into the rear axle carrier (8) until the press-in depth measured previously has been reached.
