	Remove/install
1.1	Remove front section of bottom section of soundproofing	Vehicles with diesel engine	AR94.30-P-5300T
1.2	Remove front section of engine compartment paneling	Vehicles with gasoline engine	AR61.20-P-1105T
2	Disconnect pressure line connection (1) from AIRmatic compressor unit (A9/1)	Plug the pressure line for the duration of the repair operations. If pressure line connections or pressure lines are damaged: ↓
		Repair supply line connection for air suspension.	AR32.22-P-2001-01T

3	Remove intake hose from air filter (2)	Installation:  If the air filter is replaced, the arrow on the air filter must be pointing up.
4	Unscrew nuts (arrows) and remove AIRmatic compressor unit (A9/1)		*BA32.22-P-1003-03A
5	Detach electrical connector (3) from pressure-relief valve
6	Disconnect electrical connector (4)
7	Install in the reverse order
8	Replace air suspension compressor relay	When replacing the compressor unit When replacing the compressor unit, always replace the air suspension compressor relay, because its switching contacts may have been damaged beforehand.
