Heated seats/seat ventilation control unit, task - GF91.30-P-3005-01T

Task 

The HS [SIH] and seat ventilation control unit (N25/7) is connected to the Controller Area Network bus class B (interior) (CAN-B) for data exchange purposes.

The HS [SIH] and seat ventilation control unit (N25/7) actuates, corresponding to the requests received via the CAN-B, the following functions:

• the heated seats HS [SIH] for the driver and front passenger seat

  (on vehicles with code (873) Heated seats for left and right front seats, with code (401) Front deluxe seats, incl. seat heating and seat ventilation or with code (872) Electrically heated left and right rear seats)

• the seat ventilation for the driver and front passenger seat (with code (401) Front deluxe seats, incl. seat heating and seat ventilation)
• steering wheel heater (LRH) (as of 1.6.04 with code (443) Steering wheel heater)
• the heated seats HS [SIH] for the left and right rear seats (with code (872) Electrically heated left and right rear seats)

The following components are directly supplied with voltage by the HS [SIH] and seat ventilation control unit (N25/7):

With code (873) Heated seats for left and right front seats, code (401) Front deluxe seats, incl. seat heating and seat ventilation:

• Left front seat heated cushion (R13/1)
• Left front backrest heated cushion (R13/2)
• Right front seat cushion heater element (R13/3)
• Right front backrest seat cushion heater element (R13/4)

With code (401) Front deluxe seats, incl. seat heating and seat ventilation:

• (N29/5) Left front seat ventilation blower regulator
• Right front seat ventilation blower regulator (N29/6)

As of 1.6.04 with code (443) Steering wheel heater:

• Steering wheel heater electronics (A74)

With code (872) Electrically heated left and right rear seats:

• Left rear seat heated cushion (R13/5)
• Left rear backrest heated cushion (R13/6)
• Right rear seat heated cushion (R13/7)
• Right rear backrest heated cushion (R13/8)
• Left rear side piece heated cushion (R13/9)
• Right rear side piece heated cushion (R13/10)
