Location
The fuel metering pump is located in the area of the left rear wheel well on the vehicle floor.
Task
The fuel metering pump is a combined supply, metering and shutoff system. Actuated by the STH control unit (A6n1), it supplies the fuel required for combustion from the vehicle's fuel tank to the STH heater unit (A6) and shuts off the feed line when the heater unit has stopped operating.
