Air ducting, task - GF83.10-P-2182-01T

Task 

Center nozzle 

The center nozzle takes care of the selective guidance and distribution of the air in the front upper vehicle interior.

Fresh air vent 

The ventilation nozzle is used to reduce drafts which are caused by the ventilation of the center nozzle and lateral nozzles.

Windshield defroster nozzle 

The windshield defroster nozzle is used for ventilation and for preventing the windshield from misting up.

Right and left lateral nozzle 

The lateral nozzle on the left and right ensures a targeted ducting and distribution of the air to the side windows and the side of the passenger compartment.

Right and left side window defroster nozzle 

The side window defroster nozzles are used for ventilation and for preventing the side windows from misting up.

Lateral nozzle air ducts in B-pillar 

The air ducts route the air required for ventilation of the vehicle from the evaporator housing to the corresponding air outlets in the passenger compartment.

B-pillar lateral nozzle on left and right 

The left and right B-pillar lateral nozzle ensures specific guidance and distribution of air to the rear side windows and rear vehicle interior.

Footwell air outlet at front left and right 

The front footwell air outlet is used for ventilating the left and right front footwells.

Footwell air outlet at rear left and right 

The rear footwell air outlet is used for ventilating the rear footwell.

Right and left rear compartment nozzle 

In addition to the air outlets in the rear footwell, the rear compartment nozzle provides additional, targeted rear compartment ventilation.

Stowage compartment air vent 

The storage compartment air vent serves to ventilate the storage compartment in the center console.

Air inlet 

Through the air inlet the fresh air required for through-ventilation is led from the ventilation slots in the in the engine hood to the fresh air flap.

Rear vent 

The rear vent allows the air passing through the passenger compartment to exit the vehicle again.
