Remove contacts from micro quadlock system connector - AR00.19-P-0120-03A

Unfasten secondary release on version with retaining cap 

  1. Press lock tab of cap (1) out of connector housing (2).
  2. Detach cap (1) from connector housing (2) in direction of arrow while holding down catch tab.

    Unfasten secondary release on version with 2nd contact retainer 

  3. Open contact retainer using a suitable tool and lift in direction of arrow.

    Unfasten secondary release on version with retaining cap at Junior Power Timer connector (shown on Junior Power Timer/micro quadlock system connector) 

  4. Using a suitable tool, pry up the lock tab on the retaining cap (6).
  5. Move retaining cap (6) in direction of arrow up to the stop.

    Unpin contact pins from the connector 

  6. Attach blade holder with SPECIAL TOOL clamping pliers and SPECIAL TOOL MQS blade from above through opening (arrow) in exposed connector housing (1) at spring shackle of contact pin (2).
  7. Press down the spring shackle of the male contact (2) and push the male contact (2) out of the contact cavity of the connector housing (1). Tug the corresponding cable at the same time to assist the removal procedure.

    Unpin contact pins from connector with 2nd contact retainer 

  8. Attach blade holder with SPECIAL TOOL clamping pliers and SPECIAL TOOL MQS blade from above through opening (3) of pin housing (1) at spring shackle of contact pin (2).
  9. Press down spring shackle and pull male contact (2) all the way out of contact cavity of pin housing (1). Carry out the same work step in the opening (4). Tug the corresponding cable at the same time to assist the unpinning procedure.
