	Removing
1	Move driver seat toward rear and upwards
2	Move steering wheel in and up
3	Open stowage compartment below driver seat
4	Remove stowage compartment (2).	Stowage tray (2) is eliminated.
5	Remove stowage compartment cover (1).	Stowage compartment cover (1) is eliminated and replaced by a new stowage compartment cover (1).
	Install
6	Slide fire extinguisher retaining strap (3) below driver seat and thread into upper opening (see arrow).
7	Install new stowage compartment cover (1).
8	Install fire extinguisher (4) and fasten with fire extinguisher retaining strap (3).	Ensure that fire extinguisher (4) is seated properly (see figure).
9	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS
10	Enter special equipment on the vehicle data card and online vehicle data card	Code (682) Enter fire extinguisher.
11	Close STAR DIAGNOSIS
