Pump out fuel - AR47.10-P-4001-01TZV

Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.

DANGER Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
DANGER Risk of explosion  caused by fuel igniting, risk of poisoning  caused by inhaling and swallowing fuel and risk of injury  to eyes and skin caused by contact with fuel No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking.
Pour fuels only into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.

FUEL TANK

BA47.10-P-1009-01E Nut, lock ring to fuel tank Nm 6
  1. Connect ground cable of tank drainage device with vehicle ground point.

    IMPORTANT The manufacturer's operating instructions and notes must be heeded.

  2. Slide extraction hose through filler neck into fuel tank and pump fuel out of right-hand chamber.

    NOTES Use the following extraction hose only, as otherwise the non-return throttle valve will be damaged.

    Extraction hose:

    Extraction hose 1700094 

    IMPORTANT Rubber or plastic hoses jam on the non-return throttle valves.

  3. Remove cover of left service opening.
  4. Detach electrical connectors from filter.
  5. Unscrew ring nuts (5) and remove ring (5).
  6. Seal large area of left service opening with absorbent material.
  7. Carefully release filter (4) and place down at rear.

  8. Slide extraction hose through filler neck into fuel tank and pump fuel out of left-hand chamber.
  9. Replace compression ring (8).
  10. Install filter (4).

    IMPORTANT Observe installation position of sealing ring (8).

  11. Install ring (5) and unscrew nuts.
  12. Remove absorbent material.
  13. Connect electrical connectors onto filter.
  1. 15 Install cover of left service opening.
  2. 16 Remove tank drainage device
