Model 171: at the front of the luggage compartment
Model 203, 209, 211, 219: at the left in the luggage compartment
Model 164: at the right in the load compartment.
Model 251: at the right in the spare wheel well
Model 221: under the through-loading feature/ski bag
Model 230: at the passenger-side fuse and relay module.

Task

The fuel pump relay actuates the fuel pump with voltage via a fuse.

Function

When actuated by the motor electronics control unit, with a ground signal at circuit 86, the relay closes its power contact. When the power contact is closed the fuel pump is connected to circuit 30 (B+) via circuit 87.

To actuate the fuel pump relay and bridge terminal 30 and 87.
