	Remove
	Risk of injury  to skin and eyes caused by handling hot or glowing objects.	Wear safety gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses, if necessary.	AS00.00-Z-0002-01A
	Risk of injury from grazing or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts	Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts. Deburr repair panels.	AS00.00-Z-0017-01A
	Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts		AH00.00-N-0001-01A
1	Raise vehicle with lifting platform		AR00.60-P-1000T
2	Unscrew nut (1) and detach bracket (2) of rear muffler reinforcement (3)
3	Detach rear muffler (4) from center muffler (5) by loosening hose clamp (6)
4	Unhook and remove the rear muffler (4) from the exhaust rubber mounts (7)	For easier disassembly: spread lubricant on retaining bracket (8) and bores of exhaust rubber mounts (7).

	Clean
5	Clean connecting points of combustion and corrosion residues.
	Install
6	Check exhaust rubber mounts (7) for wear and damage; replace if required
7	Hang rear muffler (4) in exhaust rubber mount (7)	For easier assembly: spread lubricant on the retaining bracket (8) and the bores of the exhaust rubber mounts (7).

8	Mount rear muffler (4) loosely at center muffler (5) with hose clamp (6)	Replace hose clamp (6).
9	Fit bracket (2) and nut (1) loosely on rear muffler reinforcement (3)
10	Align rear muffler (4) and tighten hose clamp (6)		*BA49.10-P-1003-01T
11	Tighten nut (1) of rear muffler reinforcement (3)		*BA49.10-P-1004-01T
	Checking
12	Inspect installation position and clearance of exhaust system	The exhaust system must be installed free of stress. Realign exhaust system if necessary.
	Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the running engine	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not grasp hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
13	Conduct engine test run and inspect exhaust system for leaks
