Remove/install left front SAM control unit with fuse and relay box - AR54.21-P-1260TM

	Remove/install
	Notes on avoiding damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1.1	Temporarily store basic data from driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) in STAR DIAGNOSIS	When replacing driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1). Installation:  transfer temporarily stored basic data to the new driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1).
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory	Model 211.0/2/6	AD00.00-P-2000-04A

2	Disconnect battery ground cable	Model 211.0/6	AR54.10-P-0003T

3	Remove cover (1)
4	Remove bracket (2) from seal (3)	Note the installation position of the bracket (2).
5	Unlock cover (4) and remove from fuse and relay box (5)	Installation:  Make sure that the cover (4) is seated and locked correctly as the ingress of moisture will damage electrical and electronic components.
6	Separate electrical connectors (6)
7	Unclip cover (7) and detach electrical line underneath from driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1)
8	Remove circuit 15 relay (N10/1kN)
9	Remove bolts (8, 9) and concealed bolt (arrow)	Secure bolt (9) against falling down.
10	Tilt the driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) towards the vehicle center and remove obliquely upwards and to the front from the fuse and relay box (5) until the electrical connectors on the bottom side of the driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) are accessible	Installation:  Pay attention to line routing.
11	Unplug all electrical connectors from driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1).	Installation:  Electrical connectors are color-coded and form-coded.
12	Install in the reverse order
