Garage door opener, function - GF68.05-P-0001T

Garage door opener, function 

The garage door opener system consists of:

These components are integrated in the inside rearview mirror (A67) and activate various receivers for opening and locking systems for doors and gates.

Standard mode 

If the data of the garage door opener transmitter (A67n2) is erased or if data is not yet stored in the corresponding channel, the garage door opener transmitter (A67n2) operates in the standard mode after pressing garage door opener button 1 (A67s1), garage door opener button 2 (A67s2) or garage door opener button 3 (A67s3).

The data is transmitted twice.

When garage door opener button 1 (A67s1), garage door opener button 2 (A67s2) or garage door opener button 3 (A67s3) is pressed the garage door opener indicator lamp (A67e4) comes on. The garage door opener transmitter (A67n2) remains in the standard mode for 20 s and then changes to the programming mode. The garage door opener indicator lamp (A67e4) flashes.

Program remote control 

Time switch-off 

In order to save the vehicle battery, the garage door opener transmitter (A67n2) switches off automatically in the learn-in mode, if programming is not accomplished after approx. 100 s.

Transmitter mode 

If garage door opener button 1 (A67s1), garage door opener button 2(A67s2) or garage door opener button 3 (A67s3) is actuated on the inside rearview mirror, the signal learned in for this memory location is transmitted and activates the associated garage door drive.

IMPORTANT The garage door opener signal has a range of ≥ 85% of the original system.

Erasing memory locations 

The existing data of the memory locations is erased.

IMPORTANT If then garage door opener button 1 (A67s1), garage door opener button 2 (A67s2) or garage door opener button 3 (A67s3) is pressed, the garage door opener transmitter (A67n2) changes to the programming mode
