Convenience closing with transmitter key (A8/1)

Function requirements

Circuit 15C, circuit 15R and circuit 15 OFF and
No overvoltage or undervoltage
All doors closed (status: locked) and
Press "Lock" button on transmitter key (A8/1) for longer than 1 s and hold down

Function

The door control modules (N69/1, N69/2, N69/3, N69/4) receives the message for convenience closing and then actuate the power window motors (m10/3, m10/4, m10/5, m10/6). They are actuated as long as the button on the transmitter key (A8/1) is pressed, however, max. 25 s.

The convenience closing feature for the power windows is also performed when the windows are not normalized The power windows are actuated in the same way as for manual raising. The obstruction protection is active only in the case of normalized windows.

On vehicles with code (414a) electric glass sliding/pop-up roof, the SR motor (m12m1) is actuated.

On vehicles with code (413) panoramic sliding roof, the sliding sunroof lining and the panoramic sliding roof are actuated Convenience closing is not possible when the sliding/pop-up roof or the panoramic roof is denormalized

The convenience closing function is interrupted if:

lockup is recognized or
the request is no longer received or
the function prerequisites listed are no longer fulfilled.

Convenience opening with transmitter key (A8/1)

Function requirements

circuit 15C, circuit 15R and circuit 15 OFF and
no overvoltage or undervoltage
All doors closed (status: unlocked) and
press "Unlock" button on transmitter key (A8/1) for longer than 1 s and hold down

Function

The function sequence is the same as for convenience closing

The convenience opening function is interrupted, if:

lockup is recognized or
the request is no longer received or
the function prerequisites listed are no longer fulfilled.

On model 211.6, the number of the power window motors and door control modules in the rear can vary depending on the equipment and special body
