TELE AID substitute antennas, location The emergency call backup antennas (A2/50) are integrated at the side above the vents in the body at rear bumper level.
TELE AID substitute antennas, task Transmitting and receiving the TELE AID emergency call signals (emergency call/telediagnosis), if the transmiting power of the telephone antenna (A2/22) (model 211.2) or the telephone antenna (A2/49a1) (model 211.0) is inadequate.

TELE AID substitute antennas, function The signals received by the emergency call backup antennas (A2/50) are relayed to the emergency call system control unit (N123/4) via the emergency call system antenna splitter (A2/25) via a coaxial cable.
