Remove/install paneling for automatic load compartment floor - AR68.80-P-5860T

MODEL 211.2 with CODE (943) Automatically extendable main loading floor

MODIFICATION NOTES

8.9.04 "Remove mount from luggage compartment cover" added Step 8
REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install    
1 Roll up luggage compartment cover IMPORTANT See Operating Instructions  
2 Open load compartment floor (2) upwards IMPORTANT See Operating Instructions  
3 Unscrew bolts (6) on left and right    
4 Remove clips (5) from paneling (1)    
5 Open load compartment floor (2) downward IMPORTANT See Operating Instructions  
6 Move load compartment floor (2) toward rear IMPORTANT See Operating Instructions  
7 Remove clips (3) from covers (4) IMPORTANTInstallation:  Before installing clips (3), check installation position for covers (4)  
8 Unscrew bolt (15) from bracket (16)    
9 Open load compartment floor (2) upwards IMPORTANT See Operating Instructions  
10 Remove paneling (1) downward and remove retainer (7)    
11 Remove check strap (8) from bolt (8) and lay paneling (1) down in load compartment    
12 Unclip load compartment control module (N130) from paneling (1), expose electric wiring harness and lay load compartment control module (N130) down to side    
13 Remove hydraulic unit (10) from paneling and lay down to side    
DANGER Injury hazard  Gas-operated struts are under high pressure and can pinch and crush body parts during work Only remove and install gas-operated struts in the relaxed position and when the components are secured properly. AS00.00-Z-0012-01A
14 Lift retainer (11) with suitable screwdriver and remove gas-operated strut (12) from load compartment floor (2) on left and right IMPORTANT Secure load compartment floor (2) against falling down with aid of helper
IMPORTANTInstallation:  Install gas-operated strut (12) with retainer (11) installed
 
15 Remove covers (4) from load compartment floor IMPORTANT Secure load compartment floor (2) against falling down with aid of helper  
16 Remove paneling (1) from load compartment floor and lay load compartment floor (2) down in load compartment IMPORTANT Secure load compartment floor (2) against falling down with aid of helper  
17.1 Remove strut (14) and reinforcement (13) from paneling (1) Only when replacing paneling (1).  
18 Install in the reverse order
