	Check
	Risk of injury caused by moving parts that can pinch, crush or, in extreme cases even sever extremities.	Always remove ignition key when working on windshield wiper mechanism.	AS82.30-Z-0001-01A
	When working on the raised rear-end door wiper arm (1) make sure that this does not drop onto the rear window, as it will be damaged otherwise
1	Move rear-end door wiper arm (1) out of park position and move to reversing position	To do so, switch on ignition (circuit 15 or circuit 15R) and switch on rear-end door wiper motor using the rear-end door wiper switch or the combination switch. If the rear-end door wiper arm (1) is in the reversing position, switch off the ignition and switch off the rear-end door wiper switch or the combination switch.
2	Detach wiper blade	See Operator's Manual
3	Measure and note down the angle of incidence for the rear-end door wiper arm (1) relative to the rear window in the reversing position and then in the park position	The test of the angle of incidence for the rear-end door wiper arm (1) in the reversing and park position determines whether the rear-end door wiper arm (1) needs to be adjusted.
