Remove/install load compartment floor - AR68.80-P-5800TB

MODEL 211.2 with CODE (943) Automatically extendable main loading floor Load compartment floor functions

REMOVING Removal     
1 Open load compartment floor (1) and fold upward IMPORTANT See operator's manual.  
2 Secure load compartment floor (1) against falling with support SPECIAL TOOL *230589046300
DANGER Injury hazard  Gas-operated struts are under high pressure and can pinch and crush body parts during work Only remove and install gas-operated struts in the relaxed position and when the components are secured properly. AS00.00-Z-0012-01A
3 Lift retainer (2) with suitable screwdriver and remove gas-operated strut (3) from load compartment floor (1) on left and right NOTES Do not remove retainer (2), otherwise tension on retainer (2) can be lost  
4 Disconnect battery ground cable   AR54.10-P-0003TA
5 Remove electrical connector (4) from bracket (5) and disconnect    
6 Remove support and lower load compartment floor (1) SPECIAL TOOL *230589046300
7 Unscrew bolts (9) on left and right NOTES Do not overload load compartment floor (1), otherwise load compartment floor (1) can tilt toward rear  
NOTES Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts   AH00.00-N-0001-01A
8 Remove retainer (7) from bolt (8) and remove bolt (8)    
9 Remove load compartment floor (1) from load compartment. IMPORTANT Helper required  
INSTALLING Installation     
10 Install load compartment floor (1) in load compartment IMPORTANT Helper required  
11 Screw bolt (9) on left and right NOTES Do not overload load compartment floor (1), otherwise load compartment floor (1) can tilt toward rear  
TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA68.80-P-1001-01A 
12 Lift load compartment floor (1) and install support SPECIAL TOOL *230589046300

13 Install left and right gas pressure strut (3) on load compartment floor (1) with retainer installed    
14 Connect electrical connector (4) and install on bracket (5)    
15 Connect ground cable to battery   AR54.10-P-0003TA
16 Remove support and lower load compartment floor (1) SPECIAL TOOL *230589046300
17 Install bolts (8) and secure with retainer (7) IMPORTANTInstall  bolt (8) in hydraulic cylinder without applying excessive force, if necessary move hydraulic cylinder (6) to end position by actuating cargo floor switch  
18 Check load compartment floor for proper function (1)
