Terminating a call 

If a call has been made with the telephone handset (A34) or via the portable CTEL (A34/6), there are a number of ways of terminating the call.

• Returning the telephone handset (A34) into the cradle
• Pressing the end button

If a call has been made using the hands-free system, there are also a number of ways of terminating the call.

• Pressing the end button
• Removing and putting down the telephone handset (A34)
• In vehicles with code (813) voice control system (VCS): operate the VCS switch (S93/2)
• In vehicles with multifunction steering wheel: operate the accept/terminate phone call button (S111s3)

Shutting off 

The unit can be shut off by pressing the off button and then removing the card.

During this operation ensure that the card is removed only with the device switched off in order to prevent damaging the chip on the SIM card (Subscriber Identification Module).

If the unit is used again, the PIN code (personal identification number) might have to be entered again (depends on the system).
