Position
The left antenna amplifier (A2/64) is installed above the left side window and is always provided in the vehicle. It is completed in vehicles with FM diversity by the window antenna amplifier module 1 (A2/71) in the right tailgate. In addition, it is equipped with a preamplifier for the radio remote central locking.
The antennas for radio reception are integrated in the left side window and in the rear window.
The right antenna amplifier (A2/65) is installed above the right side window and, in conjunction with the window antenna amplifier module 2 (A2/72) in the left tailgate it is responsible for TV reception; it is decoupled from the body ground and the wiring harness by means of a locking circuit.
The antennas for TV reception are integrated in the right side window and in the rear window.
