Retrofitting navigation processor in trunk - AN82.85-P-0001-01TA

Undo bolt (3) on control unit bracket (2).
Bolt (3) still required.

Swivel control unit bracket (2) in guides (see arrows) of bracket (4) to the front.

Push navigation processor (N41/1) into control unit bracket (2) until the catches can be heard to engage (see arrow and detail).
If the navigation processor (N41/1) cannot be slid into the control unit bracket (2), then the control unit bracket (2) must be replaced with the version included in the COMAND retrofit kit.

Connect the navigation processor coupling (12), MOST coupling (8) and GPS navigation processor coupling (9) to the navigation processor (N41/1).
The connectors are coded to prevent misconnection.

Push control unit bracket (2) with navigation processor (N41/1) into guide for bracket (13) as far as the stop.
Fasten control unit bracket (2) onto bracket (13) using bolt (3).
