Retrofit wiring harness. - AN82.61-P-0001-01TCC

  1. Cut pink line (rs) of navigation processor wiring harness (1) as shown in the picture so that 30 mm of the pink line (rs) are left before the sleeving of the navigation processor wiring harness (1).

IMPORTANT The cut-off pink line (rs) is no longer required.

  2. Strap down the GPS antenna line (6) and GPS coupling for the navigation processor (9) on the navigation processor wiring harness (1).

IMPORTANT The GPS antenna line (6) and GPS coupling for the navigation processor (9) are no longer required.

  3. Check chamber assignment of black 8-pin navigation processor connector (12):
    • Chamber 1 brown line (voltage supply -)
    • Chamber 2 red/white line (voltage supply +)
    • Chamber 5 pink line (MOST wake-up line).

IMPORTANT If the chambers are not correctly assigned, open black 8-pin navigation processor connector (12) and reconnect lines. Then close the connector again.

  4. Plug blue 2-pin voltage supply coupling (11) of navigation processor coupling into plug position 16 of the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2).

IMPORTANT Plug position 16 is marked in blue.

  5. Route the navigation processor wiring harness (1) as shown in the picture so that the blue length comparison marking (15) on the navigation processor wiring harness (1) lines up with the identically colored length comparison markings on the on-board wiring harnesses.
  6. Connect pink line (rs) of navigation processor wiring harness (1) directly behind MOST coupling housing (10) with voltage distributor (16) to the pink line (MOST wake-up line) of on-board wiring harness for the audio gateway control unit (see magnifying glass).
