Function requirements:
- Circuit 30
- Rotary light switch (S1) in
"standing lamp On" or
"driving lights On" position
- The rotary light switch (S1) is also pulled out to the 1st detent position
"Fog lamp on".
Function
The driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) acquires the "front fog lamp On" signal via the rotary light switch (S1).
The driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) actuates the left fog lamp (E5/1) and transmits "front fog lamp On" via CAN class B to the passenger-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/11). This actuates the right fog lamp (E5/2).
The green fog lamp indicator lamp (S1e1) in the rotary light switch (S1) visually indicates that the fog lamp is switched on.
