- Cut remaining glue off of body flange with
multicutter and
and cutting blade
Not more than 2 mm must remain. Pull off loose adhesive material (remaining pieces which are not completely cut off).
- Clean painted adhesive surface on body flange with cleaning rag from cleaning set (Betaclean 3300) of 2K gluing set and rub dry with rag included in cleaning set.
In order to prevent adhesion faults when gluing in the spare wheel well, the adhesive surface of the body flange must be free of dust, oil, grease, wax and other cohesive components or dirt particles.
- If remaining glue on body flange is missing apply primer (BETAPRIME 5061) included in gluing set in area to be glued.
- Repair paint damages on body flange not covered by glue with primer pin
