1	Switch off the ignition and remove the transmitter key from the EIS control unit	with code (889) Keyless-Go: Press KEYLESS-GO start and stop button repeatedly until the ignition is switched off. Remove the transmitter key from the vehicle and store it in a location beyond its transmission range (at least 2 meters).
2	Remove the COMAND operating, display and controller unit (A40/3)		AR82.85-P-1000T
3	Remove cover to the right below instrument panel		AR68.10-P-1520T
	Install
4	Retrofit iPod interface (1)		AZ82.60-P-0001-03TAA
5	Retrofit iPod wiring harness (9) and iPod interface wiring harness (2)		AZ82.60-P-0001-01TAA
	Notes on avoiding damage to fiber optic cables during repair work	With Media Oriented System Transport (MOST)	AH82.60-P-0001-05AK
6	Install cover to the right below instrument panel		AR68.10-P-1520T
7	Install COMAND operating, display and controller unit (A40/3)		AR82.85-P-1000T
8	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS
9	Activate video AUX connection using Star Diagnosis
10	Close Star Diagnosis
11	Perform function test of iPod interface (1)
