Remove/install the tumble flap position sensor at intake manifold - AR09.20-P-1995TS

ENGINE 272, 273 (except 272.985) in MODEL 211, 219

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
NOTES Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge   AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1 Switch ignition off, remove ignition key (transmitter key) IMPORTANT On vehicles with code 889 Keyless-Go: Press Keyless-Go start/stop button repeatedly until the ignition is switched off.
Remove Keyless Go transmitter card or transmitter key from the vehicle and store beyond transmitter range (min. 2 m).
 
2 Remove air filter housing   AR09.10-P-1150TS 
3 Unlock and disconnect electrical connector (1) on position sensor (B28/10 or B28/9)    
4 Remove bolt (2) and take position sensor (B28/9 or B28/10) out of the resonance intake manifold (3) TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA09.20-P-1002-01N 
5 Install in the reverse order    
6 Read out fault memory    
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory   AD00.00-P-2000-04A
