	Notes on avoiding damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1.1	Temporarily store basic data from driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) in STAR DIAGNOSIS	When replacing driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1). transfer temporarily stored basic data to the new driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1).
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04TX
		STAR DIAGNOSIS, diagnosis system	*WH58.30-Z-1048-13A
2	Disconnect battery ground cable		AR54.10-P-0003TX
3	Open engine hood and move to vertical position		AR88.40-P-1000TX
4	Release lever (1) in direction of arrow and remove cover (2) from fuse and relay box (3)	Make sure that the cover (2) is seated and locked correctly as the ingress of moisture will damage electrical and electronic components.
5	Separate electrical connectors (4)
6	Detach electrical line (5) from driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1)
7	Remove bolts (6)
8	Remove driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) from the fuse and relay box (3) until the electrical connectors on the bottom side of the driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) are accessible	Pay attention to line routing. The catch hook (7) must engage.
9	Unplug all electrical connectors from driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1).	Electrical connectors are color-coded and form-coded.
10	Unclip cutoff relay for interruptible loads (K75) together with bracket from driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1)
11	Remove driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1)
12	Install in the reverse order
