1	Disconnect battery ground line

2	Remove COMMAND controller unit	Only pull out to front until electrical connectors are accessible.	AR82.85-P-1100SC
3	Remove glove compartment

	Install
4	Retrofit AUX jack wiring harness	Wiring harness for audio AUX jack.	AZ82.60-P-0021-01SC
5	Install in the reverse order	Steps 3 to 1.
6	Activate audio AUX jack with STAR DIAGNOSIS	Perform variant coding with STAR DIAGNOSIS to activate audio AUX function of COMMAND. STAR DIAGNOSIS Compact diagnosis system for passenger cars, Order number 6511 1801 00
7	Carry out function check	Check audio AUX function as per operating instructions in vehicle.
