Retrofit iPod wiring harness - AZ82.60-P-0001-02SC

MODEL 216.3## 1# except CODE (498) Japan version with CODE (386) Preinstallation for telephone "Handy", UPCI system with CODE (388) Telephone "Handy", UPCI system with CODE (389) Mobile phone preinstallation with universal interface, USA/C 

1. Remove glove box lamp (E13/1) from glove box (4).
2. Release damping material (8) from glove box (4) as per picture and fold upwards.

3. Drill hole (C) with ø=20 mm in glove box (4) as per dimensioning.

   Ensure that no other components are damaged when drilling the hole (C).

4. Slide interface coupling (5) of iPod wiring harness (1) from the inside to outside through hole drilled in glove box (4).
5. Seal hole with grommet (6) of iPod wiring harness (1).
6. Install glove box lamp (E13/1) in glove box (4).
7. Secure damping material (8) over drilled hole and iPod wiring harness (1) to glove box (4) as per picture.
8. Position glove box (4) with Pod wiring harness (1) in front passenger footwell.

iPod coupling (2) is connected to iPod at a later point in time. Interface connector (5) is connected to the iPod interface at a later time.
