Remove/install end cover - AR01.40-P-8913MC

128.5.08 Clean sealing surfaces - added Operation step 4
REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove automatic transmission Model 215, 220 AR27.10-P-0500I
    Model 230 AR27.10-P-0500RC
    Model 216, 221 AR27.10-P-0500SZ
2 Remove flywheel/drive plate (1) Model 215, 216, 220, 221 AR03.30-P-8001MC
    Model 230 AR03.30-P-8001R
3 Remove end cover (2) IMPORTANT Pry off end cover (2) carefully at both marked points (arrows) using a slanted screwdriver.
The crankshaft sealing ring (3) must always be replaced when end cover (2) is removed. Pay attention to the fitted sleeves when pressing on end cover (2)!		  
    IMPORTANT End cover (2) is made out of magnesium alloy.  
    IMPORTANTInstallation:  Observe application of sealant to end cover (2): ↓  
IMPORTANT   Information on application of sealant to end cover of crankcase AH01.40-P-1000-04A 
    SPECIAL TOOL *112589002500
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA01.40-P-1004-01C 
    NOTES Make sure that no sealant enters the oil ducts, otherwise this can lead to engine damage.
Loctite 5970 sealant		 *BR00.45-Z-1013-01A 
CLEAN Clean     
4 Clean sealing surfaces NOTES Do not use any sharp-edged tools or abrasive paper as this will damage the sealing surfaces. AR01.00-P-0050-01A 
    Loctite 7200 *BR00.45-Z-1038-04A 
    Loctite 7063 cleaning spray (150 ml) *BR00.45-Z-1046-04A 
5 Replace front crankshaft radial seal (3) IMPORTANT The rear crankshaft radial sealing ring (3) must only be removed once the end cover (2) has been taken off.  
    IMPORTANTInstallation:  Circumference and lip of crankshaft radial sealing ring (3) as well as counter tread on crankshaft must be free of oil and grease.

6 Install in the reverse order
