Replace radial sealing ring at drive pinion gear (with rear axle differential installed) - AR35.31-P-0530CW

	Remove/install
	Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts		AH00.00-N-0001-01A
		While working on the rear axle care must be taken to ensure that the surfaces of all aluminum components do not get any scratches, cracks and notches. Otherwise the service life of the of the parts will be reduced.
1	Remove exhaust system at flange connection	Vehicles with gasoline engine Vehicles with diesel engine	AR49.10-P-7100CW
2	Detach propeller shaft (7) from joint flange (41) on rear axle differential (50)		AR41.10-P-0050CW
3	Detach fitting sleeves on joint flange (41) of rear axle differential (50)		AR41.10-P-0050-09TX
	Drift for loosening fitting sleeves in flex disks.		WF58.50-P-4110-01A
4	Unscrew hexagon collar nut (40)		*BA35.31-P-1001-01E

5	Detach joint flange (41).	If necessary, use puller.

6	Pry the radial sealing ring (42) out of the rear axle differential (50) using a suitable tool	Do not damage the seating surface of the radial sealing ring in order to guarantee leaktightness and a faultless seat.
		Installation:  Replace radial sealing ring, coat the lip with universal hypoid gear oil and press into the rear axle center assembly using a drift

7	Install in the reverse order
