Chassis CAN
The following signal is read in over the chassis CAN on model 204.0 up to 28.2.11, model 204.9 up to 31.5.11, model 204.3 with code (U10) Front passenger seat with weight sensing:
- Status of seat occupied recognition from weight sensing system (WSS) control unit (N110) (provided by front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1))
Seat occupied LIN (on model 204.0/2 as of 1.3.11, model 204.9 as of 1.6.11)
The signals from the following components are read in over the seat occupied LIN:
- Front passenger seat occupied recognition (without code (U18) Automatic child seat recognition (ACSR [AKSE]) and without code (U10) Front passenger seat with weight sensing)
- Front passenger seat and ACSR occupied recognition (with code (U18) Automatic child seat recognition (ACSR))
- Weight Sensing System (WSS) control unit (N2/13) (on model 204.0/9 with code (U10) Front passenger seat with weight sensing)
Evaluation of input factors
The input factors that have been read in are evaluated by the integrated microprocessor and the relevant components are then actuated.
Actuation of components
The actuation of the components takes place via the following connections:
- Direct line
- Chassis CAN
Direct line
The following components are actuated via a direct line:
- Pyrofuse 88 (F32f88) (without code (B03) ECO start/stop function)
