| 1 | Wind crank window fully down | ||
| 2 | Remove window frame paneling (2). | ||
| 3 | Detach old door frame seal (1) from rear door (3) | ||
| 4 | Remove glue residues from rear door (3) using surface conditioning disk and clean bonding surface | ||

| Install | |||
| 5 | Loosen spacer strips (4) approx. 2 cm at one end of the new door frame seal (1). | ||
| 6 | Glue on door frame seal (1) to rear door (3) starting at center of door bottom. | ||
| 7 | Cut off door frame seal protrusion (1) at bottom side of door and connect the two ends of the door frame seal (1). | Do not cut off protection at end of door frame seal (1) where the insert (6) protrudes. |

| 8 | Firmly roll on door frame seal (1) with roller (5). | Fig 2 | |
| 9 | Completely remove spacer strips (4) from door frame seal (1) starting at detached end. | ||
| 10 | Install window frame paneling (2). | ||
| 11 | Close crank window |
