Additional ventilation for COMAND controller unit

Place instrument panel (4) onto top side.
Unclip cable duct (5) from support slot on COMAND controller unit.
Unclip holder (7) for wiring harness (6) from instrument panel (4)

Position air exhaust duct (3), as shown, on the instrument panel (4).
Clip air exhaust duct (3) into holders (arrows A) on instrument panel (4).
Clip cable duct (5) into support slot on COMAND controller unit.
Clip holder (3.1) for air exhaust duct (3) into support (8) on support slot of COMAND controller unit.

Clip holder (7) for wiring harness (6) into instrument panel (4)

Install air exhaust duct (2), as shown, between instrument panel support (9) and steering column tube (8).
Connect air exhaust duct (2) to opening (arrow C) on COMAND fan motor (M4/13).
Install air intake duct (1), as shown, between steering column tube (8) and air exhaust duct (2).
Connect air intake duct (1) to opening (arrow B) on COMAND fan motor (M4/13).

Align air intake duct (1) and air exhaust duct (2), and screw into place using the bolt (10) included in the package contents.
When installing the instrument panel, the air exhaust duct (2) must be connected to the air exhaust duct, which is located in the instrument panel.
