	Install
2	Retrofit COMAND fan motor (M4/13)		AN82.85-P-0005-01EC

3	Retrofit electrical wiring harness (4) of COMAND fan motor (M4/13)		AN82.85-P-0005-02EC
4	Retrofit air intake duct (1) and air exhaust ducts (2, 3) of COMAND fan motor (M4/13)		AN82.85-P-0005-03EC
5	Installing instrument panel	Airbag unit, instrument cluster, Audio/ COMAND display (A40/8) and COMAND controller unit (A40/3) are installed at later stage.
6	Install instrument cluster with 4.5-inch display	For vehicles without  code (442) Comfort multifunction steering wheel or without  Instrument cluster with 4.5 inch display
7	Install 12 button multi function steering wheel	For vehicles without code (442) Comfort multifunction steering wheel

14	Connect Star Diagnosis and select vehicle via the vehicle identification number (VIN)
15	Run variant coding with XENTRY using software calibration number (SCN)	Variant coding with XENTRY using the software calibration number (SCN) must be carried out for the following control units. Instrument cluster "COMAND controller unit (A40/3) with DVD changer"
16	Disconnect Star Diagnosis
17	Perform function test	See operating instructions of COMAND controller unit (A40/3) with DVD changer.
