	Lift vehicle, lower
	Risk of death.  Death may result if vehicle slips or topples from the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between columns of lifting platform and position the four support plates below support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.	-
	Risk of accident  from independent movement when working on jacked-up vehicle. Risk of injury  from rotating parts when working on running engine or drive train.	Ensure that supports are in a safe condition. An authorized person must occupy the driver's seat. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not grasp hot or rotating parts.	-
1.1	Clip adapter (01) into the lift support points (1) at the side sills	When removing the underbody paneling.

2	Adjust support plate (02) of the lifting platform support arms (03) to the height of the vehicle	Rotate support plates (02) until these are connected to the adapters (01) or the lift support point (1) of the side sills.

4.1	Secure vehicle to prevent it from tipping over and falling down	Before removing major assembly (e.g., engine, transmission, axles)
