	Removing
1	Remove both rear muffler (9a)
		Engines 272.942 /963.	AR49.10-P-4951VA
		-	-
	Inspect suspension parts, sealing rings and exhaust rubber mounts for reusability	Replace components if necessary.
	Installing
2	Attach tail pipe cutout on standard rear apron or AMG rear apron (code (772) AMG styling package - front spoiler, side skirts and rear apron)	When fitting the AMG rear apron for the SLK55 AMG (171.473) with the number B6 603 62 58 or B6 603 62 59 (PTS), no cutting is necessary. To cut the rear apron (code (772) AMG styling package - front spoiler, side skirts and rear apron), it is necessary for the old paneling bottom section to be removed beforehand and for the surface of the adhesive residues to be cleaned. Attach the new paneling bottom section (with large exhaust pipe cutout) after cutting. See parts ordering notes. Templates are supplied. Sand down cut edges and paint in the vehicle color.
3	Align and screw down exhaust system	Ensure that the tail pipes are parallel and have adequate clearance to the rear apron.
4	Check the whole exhaust system for leaks
5	Hand over the supplied EG model approval to the customer	Approval by the Technical Inspection Association is not necessary in Germany! The EG model approval should be carried in the vehicle.
