| 1 | Adjust the driver seat backwards into its final position | ||
| 2 | Adjust the steering column backwards and downwards into its final position | ||
| 3.1 | Transfer the basic data from the instrument cluster (A1) to STAR DIAGNOSIS | When replacing the instrument cluster (A1). |

| Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory | AD00.00-P-2000-04A | ||

| 4 | Unclip the surrounds (1) on the left and right of the instrument panel (2) | ||
| 5 | Use a suitable screwdriver to unlock the instrument cluster (A1) through the openings (arrows) in the instrument panel (2) | ||
| 6 | Remove the instrument cluster (A1) from the instrument panel (2) until the electrical connector (3) is accessible | ||
| 7 | Unlock electrical connector (3), separate and guide the instrument cluster (A1) out to the side between the steering wheel and instrument panel (2) | ||
| 8 | Install in the reverse order |
