Bleed clutch operating system - AR25.20-P-0070V

MODEL 171.4 with ENGINE 271.9, 272.9

MODIFICATION NOTES

25.3.04 Mark the fill level on the brake fluid expansion reservoir Step 2  
11.9.07 Bleed screw to central clutch operator   *BA25.20-P-1001-01B 
REMOVING Removing    
DANGER Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer. -
DANGER Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing brake fluid. Risk of injury  caused by brake fluid coming into contact with skin and eyes. Only pour brake fluid into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid. -
NOTES Brake fluid notes   AH42.50-P-0001-01A
1 Open engine hood and raise to vertical position   AR88.40-P-1000V
2 Mark the fill level height of the brake fluid on the brake fluid expansion reservoir (2)    
3 Unscrew cap (1) on expansion reservoir (2)    
4 Connect brake fluid changing unit to expansion reservoir (2) IMPORTANT Follow the operating instructions for the brake fluid changing unit.

5 Raise vehicle with vehicle lift   AR00.60-P-1000V
6 Remove rear section of lower engine compartment paneling   AR61.20-P-1105V
7 Remove cover (3) from clutch housing    
8 Remove cap on bleed screw of central clutch operator and connect hose (4) IMPORTANT Collect brake fluid in a suitable container.  
  Bleeding     
9 Open bleed screw and allow brake fluid to flow out IMPORTANT The brake fluid must flow out clean and free from bubbles.  
INSTALLING Install     
10 Close bleed screw on central clutch operator, pull off hose (4) and mount cap TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA25.20-P-1001-01B 
  Lower vehicle    
11 Detach brake fluid changing unit from expansion reservoir (2)    
12 Correct the fill level height of the brake fluid in the expansion reservoir (2) IMPORTANT Observe marking.  
13 Screw on cap (1)    
INSPECT Checking     
14 Check the clutch operator for proper operation and leaktightness    
  Raise vehicle with vehicle lift    
15 Attach cover (3) to clutch housing    
16 Install rear section of the lower engine compartment paneling   AR61.20-P-1105V
17 Lower vehicle   AR00.60-P-1000V
18 Close engine hood   AR88.40-P-1000V
