	Remove/install
	Risk of injury caused by performing testing or repair work on airbag or emergency tensioning retractor units.	Store airbag units with deployment side facing up; do not expose to temperatures greater than 100 °C. When working on these units, disconnect the power supply.	-
	Risk of injury caused by performing testing or repair work on airbag or emergency tensioning retractor units.	Store airbag units with deployment side facing up; do not expose to temperatures greater than 100 °C. When working on these units, disconnect power supply and unplug the SRS test connector (X11/13).	-
	Risk of injury to skin and eyes caused by handling hot or glowing objects.	Wear safety gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses, if necessary.	-
	Risk of injury caused by burns to skin and eyes. Risk of poisoning caused by inhaling fumes when working with heat-shrinkable tubing.	Work in well ventilated rooms only. Wear safety glasses with side protection and protective gloves.	-

1	Remove detachable body components in area to be repaired

3.1	Protect the repair point with heat-shrinkable tube after repairing the line		-
3.2	Protect the repair point with corrugated hose after repairing the line		-
3.3	Protect the repair point with fabric tape after repairing the line		-
4	Checking wiring harness	Function check on completion of repair.	During tests on the supplemental restraint system control unit a corresponding test cable must be used in combination with the 126-pin socket box. Connect electrical connection kit with test cable. Check lines for resistance using a continuity meter as per the wiring diagram, starting at the corresponding control unit. The resistance must be < 0.5. Perform system test in accordance with diagnosis specifications.
