| 1 | Open engine hood and raise to vertical position | ||
| Opening engine hood, moving to upright position and closing | AR88.40-P-1000V | ||
| 2 | Open locks (1a) and remove cover (1) | ||
| 3 | Unscrew nut (2a) and remove retaining clip (2) | ||
| 4 | Unscrew plugs (3) of battery cells from the battery (G1) | ||

| 5 | Check fluid level in the cells of the battery (G1) | Only use distilled water for refilling. |
