General 

The Parktronic control unit (N62) is the master control unit for the Parktronic system (PTS). It takes over the actuation and evaluation of the front bumper PTS sensor unit (A42) and rear bumper PTS sensor unit (A43). When an obstacle is detected, warning information takes place via the rear PTS warning indicator (A44/3) or center instrument panel PTS warning indicator (A44/4). When circuit 15 is switched on the Parktronic control unit (N62) carries out a self test. Further tests are carried out at regular intervals when driving. Faults occurring are stored in the fault memory of the Parktronic control unit (N62) It is connected to the Controller Area Network bus Class B (interior) (CAN-B) for the exchange of data with other control units.

• Mute the audio system
