  1. Install wheelhouse with front longitudinal member (1) with straightening tool, fit and fasten with COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS clamping pliers.
  2. Drill dia. 6.5 mm rivet holes in wheelhouse with front longitudinal member (1) (areas A, B, C, D, E and F).

  3. Drill dia. 6.5 mm rivet holes in wheelhouse with front longitudinal member (1) and on firewall (4) (areas B 1 , G, H and J).
  4. Drill dia. 7 mm holes in wheelhouse with front longitudinal member (1) (area I).
  5. Remove wheelhouse with front longitudinal member (1)
  6. Deburr rivet holes on both sides
  7. Coat insides of riveted joints with zinc dust paint.

  8. Install wheelhouse with front longitudinal member (1) with straightening tool, fit and fasten with COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS manual temporary fasteners
  9. Wheelhouse with front longitudinal member (1) SHIELDED GAS PLUG WELD (areas K, L and M).
  10. Wheelhouse with front longitudinal member (1) POLARIZATION RESISTANCE SINGLE-ROW SPOT WELD (areas N and O).

  11. Rivet wheelhouse with front longitudinal member (1) with Polygrip flat/round head rivet, dia. 6.4 x 14 (areas A, C and G).
  12. Countersink rivet holes on wheelhouse with front longitudinal member (1) (area D).
  13. Rivet wheelhouse with front longitudinal member (1) with Polygrip countersunk rivet, dia. 6.4 x 14 (area D).
  14. Weld in wheelhouse with front longitudinal member (1) with SHIELDED GAS PLUG WELD (area G).
  15. Rivet wheelhouse with front longitudinal member (1) and firewall (4) with Polygrip flat/round head rivet, dia. 6.4 x 14 (areas A1 , B1 , E1 , F1 , H and J).
  16. Weld in wheelhouse with front longitudinal member (1) with SHIELDED GAS PLUG WELD (areas I, Z and Z).
  17. Weld in wheelhouse with front longitudinal member (1) with SHIELDED GAS SEAM WELD (area P).
  18. Plug hole sealing washer (arrow)

  19. Install front upper longitudinal member SPECIAL TOOL (1) with welding device, fit and fasten with COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS clamping pliers.
  20. Drill dia. 6.5 mm rivet holes on upper front longitudinal member (1) (area Q).
  21. Remove upper front longitudinal member (1)
  22. Deburr rivet holes on both sides
  23. Coat insides of riveted joints with zinc dust paint.
  24. Install front upper longitudinal member (1) with SPECIAL TOOL welding device, fit and fasten with COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS manual temporary fastener.

  25. Rivet upper front longitudinal member (1) with Polygrip flat/ round head rivet, dia. 6.4 x 14 (area Q).
  26. Weld in upper front longitudinal member (1) with POLARIZATION RESISTANCE SINGLE-ROW SPOT WELD (areas R, S and T).
  27. SPECIAL TOOL Remove welding device

  28. Install reinforcement on upper front longitudinal member (1), fit and fasten with COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS C-clamps.
  29. Drill reinforcement on upper front longitudinal member (1) with dia. 6.5 mm bit (areas U and V).
  30. Remove reinforcement on upper front longitudinal member (1).
  31. Deburr rivet holes on both sides
  32. Coat insides of riveted joints with zinc dust paint.
  33. Install reinforcement on upper front longitudinal member (1), fit and fasten with COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS manual temporary fasteners
  34. Rivet reinforcement on upper front longitudinal member (1) with Polygrip flat/round head rivet, dia. 6.4 x 14 (areas U and V).
  35. Weld in reinforcement on upper front longitudinal member (1) with POLARIZATION RESISTANCE SINGLE-ROW SPOT WELD (areas W, X and Y).
  36. Clean welds with COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS round wire brush.
  37. Remove grinding and drill shavings with wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
