Weld in longitudinal member front section - AR62.20-P-1260-03V

  1. Install longitudinal member front section (1) with straightening tool, fit and fasten with COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS clamping pliers.

    IMPORTANT Use spacers.

  2. Weld in longitudinal member front section (1) with SHIELDED GAS SEAM WELD (area B).
  3. Remove straightening tool.
  4. Grind MIG weld on connection surfaces on longitudinal member front section (1) down flat.
  5. Remove grinding and drilling chips with wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
  6. Coat insides of MIG weld with zinc dust paint
  7. Install longitudinal member front section (1) with straightening tool, fit and fasten with COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS clamping pliers.
  8. Position sheet metal flanges again on longitudinal member front section (arrow).
  9. Weld in longitudinal member front section with POLARIZATION RESISTANCE SINGLE-ROW SPOT WELD (areas C and D).
  10. Weld in longitudinal member front section with SHIELDED GAS SEAM WELD (area A).
  11. Remove straightening tool.
  12. Finish spot welding on longitudinal member front section POLARIZATION RESISTANCE SINGLE-ROW SPOT WELD (area D).
  13. Finish welding on longitudinal member front section SHIELDED GAS SEAM WELD (area A).
  14. Clean welds with COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS round wire brush.
  15. Remove grinding and drilling chips with wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
