Partially install front cross member - AR62.30-P-1350-06V

IMPORTANT The following steps apply for the left side of the front cross member section (2) and should be performed on the right side in the same manner when damaged

  1. Install front cross member section (2) with SPECIAL TOOL welding device, fit and fasten with COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS clamping pliers.
  2. Weld in front cross member (2) with SHIELDED GAS SEAM WELD (area A).
  3. Grind weld in connection area for front cross member cover (1) down flat.
  4. Clean weld COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS round wire brush D).
  5. Coat insides of weld on front cross member (2) with zinc dust paint.
  6. Install front cross member cover (1), fit and fasten with COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS clamping pliers.
  7. Weld in front cross member cover (1) with POLARIZATION RESISTANCE SINGLE-ROW SPOT WELD (areas B and C).
  8. Weld in front cross member cover (1) with SHIELDED GAS SEAM WELD (area D.)
  9. SPECIAL TOOL Remove welding device.
  10. Clean welds with COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS round wire brush.
  11. Remove grinding and drilling chips with wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
