Disconnecting the ground line from the battery, deleted

	Removal/installation
1.1	Store basic data from Parktronic control unit (N62) temporarily in STAR DIAGNOSIS	When installing new Parktronic control unit (N62). Installation:  Transfer the temporarily stored basic data to the new Parktronic control unit (N62).
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
		STAR DIAGNOSIS diagnosis system	*WH58.30-Z-1048-13A
2	Switch off the ignition and remove the transmitter key from the EIS control unit
3	Open retractable trunk partition	See Operating Instructions
4	Remove expanding clips (1)	Installation:  Replace damaged expanding clips (1) with new ones.
5	Open frame (2) (arrow) and loosen right trunk lining (3) from trunk lid seal (4).	Open the frame (2) carefully (arrow) If the frame (2) is damaged, install new right trunk lining (3). Installation:  Ensure that right trunk lining (3) is seated properly below trunk lid seal (4).
6	Press top of right trunk lining (3) towards center of trunk until screw (5) is accessible from above.	Do not over-expand the frame (2). If the frame (2) is damaged, install new right trunk lining (3).
7	Unscrew bolt (5).
8	Open service flap (6) and unscrew screw (7).
9	Remove Parktronic control unit (N62) backwards and turn until electrical connectors (8) can be accessed through the open service flap (6).
10	Separate the electrical connectors (8)
11	Remove Parktronic control unit (N62) from trunk through open service flap (6).
12	Install in the reverse order
