Remove/install hydraulic line of power steering - AR46.25-P-3015VTF

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install    
DANGER Risk of injury  to skin or eyes caused by hydraulic fluid spraying out under high pressure. Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing hydraulic fluid. Depressurize the hydraulic system completely before starting any work on the system. Wear protective clothing and safety glasses. -
DANGER Risk of injury  caused by fingers being pinched or crushed  when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lids, tailgates or sliding roof. Keep body parts and limbs well clear of moving parts. -
1 Open engine hood and raise to vertical position   AR88.40-P-1000V
2 Remove left intake air duct (1).    
3 Extract oil from power steering expansion reservoir (2). NOTES The area around the separation point should be cleaned thoroughly before opening the power steering's hydraulic system. Even minute particles of dirt, introduced into the hydraulic components, can result in malfunctions or damage to the power steering.

4 Detach return line (3) at power steering pump.   AR46.25-P-3015VTD 
5 Unscrew union nut (5) of power steering pressure line (4) at power steering pump. IMPORTANT Use a rag to clear up any escaping oil and seal the line connections using stop plugs.  
    IMPORTANTInstallation:  Install new O-ring.  
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA46.30-P-1002-01F 
    SPECIAL TOOL Set of stop plugs Figure
DANGER Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
6 Raise vehicle   AR00.60-P-1000V
7 Dismount lower engine compartment paneling IMPORTANTInstallation:  Only install engine compartment paneling after the leak test. AR61.20-P-1105V
8 Remove bolt (8) and detach power steering pressure line (4) from rack-and-pinion steering (6). IMPORTANT Collect oil which runs out with rags and seal line connections stop plugs.  
    IMPORTANTInstallation:  Install new O-ring.

9 Remove power steering pressure line (4) downwards.    
10 Install in the reverse order    
DANGER Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

11 Fill power steering pump and bleed   AR46.30-P-0010V 
12 Check oil level in power steering expansion reservoir (2), correct if necessary    
REFER TO MAINTENANCE Power steering - checking and correcting oil level   AP46.00-P-4611V 
13 Check function of power steering and for leaks
