| 1 | Remove key from electronic ignition switch control unit | ||
| 2 | Move passenger seat into rearmost position. | ||
| 3 | Remove floor mat and fold back floor covering (1) in passenger footwell | ||
| 4 | Remove impact absorber (2). | ||
| 5 | Unscrew nuts (3a) and take out step plate (3) | ||
| 6.1 | Carry out control unit adaptation using STAR DIAGNOSIS | When replacing the ETC [EGS] control unit (N15/3) | |
| STAR DIAGNOSIS diagnosis system | *WH58.30-Z-1048-13A | ||
| 7 | Disconnect electrical connectors (4) on the ETC [EGS] control unit (N15/3) | ||
| 8 | Pull ETC [EGS] control unit (N15/3) out of the control unit bracket | ||
| 9 | Install in the reverse order | ||
